Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival Coming To Jones Beach, Country Legend Announces

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer announced the tour with a star-studded supporting cast, including Sheryl Crow and Wilco.

WANTAGH, NY — One of country music’s all-time greats is going on the road again this summer, and he’s bringing the music to the Northwell at Jones Beach Theater.

Country music legend Willie Nelson announced Tuesday that his Outlaw Music Festival would be returning this summer, with a lineup featuring Willie Nelson & Family, the Avett Brothers, Sheryl Crow, Wilco, Lukas Nelson, Stephen Wilson Jr., Margo Price, Sierra Hull, Robert Randolph and more.

Per Tuesday’s announcement, the tour is set to stop in Wantagh Aug. 28, when it comes to the Northwell at Jones Beach Theater. Additional New York stops on the tour will take place Aug. 29 in Bethel, NY and Aug. 30 in Saratoga Springs.

Nelson said tickets to the tour would go on sale Friday, with more information available on the tour’s website. For information about the theater’s parking, bag policy and concession options, prospective visitors can go to the Northwell at Jones Beach Theater’s website.

Nelson is just the latest hit recording artist to announce a date in Wantagh, joining a summer slate that already features Chris Stapleton, Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz and the Wu-Tang Clan.
