Car Vs. Bikers As Shots Fired In Wash Heights Standoff: NYPD

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A group of motorized bikers got into a confrontation with a car driver in Washington Heights that led to shots getting fired, according to the police.

The standoff took place on Feb. 24 at 4:37 p.m. on Broadway and West 157th Street, police said.

The driver of the car got into a verbal fight with three men on motorbikes, which quickly escalated into a physical coming together, according to police.

One of the men on motorbikes broke a window in the car, and another fired a gunshot into one of the vehicle's tires, police said. The three men fled after the shot, and no injures were reported.

Police released pictures Thursday of three men wanted in connection to the dispute.
