Coronavirus Test Site Remains Open At Washington Heights School
You can get a walk-in coronavirus test Monday and Tuesday in Washington Heights, thanks to NYC Health + Hospitals.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — The city's hospital system is offering an additional coronavirus testing site at a school in Washington Heights.
The George Washington Educational Campus at 549 Audubon Avenue will offer coronavirus testing Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on a walk-in basis, according to NYC Health + Hospitals.
The school is part of a network of temporary school-based testing sites that have opened across New York City, as officials brace for an anticipated surge in COVID-19 cases related to Thanksgiving.

Other new testing sites in Manhattan include the Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics school in East Harlem and the Park West High School in Midtown.

Travelers to New York who were out of state for more than 24 hours are required to quarantine for 14 days, unless they were only in a state that borders New York, according to state Department of Health guidelines.

They can "test out" of the quarantine period if they get tested within three days of coming to New York, quarantine for three days, then get another coronavirus test on the fourth day. Both tests must be negative.
