Inwood Little League Parade To Shut Down Traffic This Weekend

Here's how you can avoid traffic closures for the Inwood Little League Parade this weekend.

INWOOD, NY — Although the weather has not adjusted accordingly, spring has officially arrived in New York City. And with spring comes baseball.

The Inwood Little League is kicking off the baseball season with its annual parade this Saturday, which means traffic on many Inwood roads will be closed for a about two hours, police told Patch.

Here's which roads will be closed as the MLB's future superstars march in their uniforms:

  • Nagle Avenue between Broadway and Dyckman Street
  • Dyckman Street between Nagle Avenue and Broadway
  • Broadway (east side) between Dyckman Street and 218th Street
  • 218th Street between Broadway and Indian Road

The NYPD estimates that the roads will be closed from 12-2 p.m., but the parade may go on longer than anticipated.
