Inwood Medieval Festival To Feature Dark-Age Marketplace, Jousting
Here's everything you need to know about attending this weekend's Medieval Festival in Inwood's Fort Tryon Park.

INWOOD, NY — The Inwood Medieval Festival will return to Fort Tryon Park for the event's 33rd year on Sunday, Oct. 1, according to the New York City Parks Department.
The event — which is organized by the parks department and the Washington Heights & Inwood Development Corporation — will bring the Middle Ages to life in uptown Manhattan. Activities for this year's festival include authentic music and dance, jugglers and a jousting competition. In addition to activities, authentic food will be served along with live entertainment.
"Experience the culture of a bygone era against the backdrop of the Cloisters museum and the Hudson River" reads a parks department press release.
