MTA Employee Attacked From Behind In Inwood Station: Police
An MTA employee was struck in the head multiple times while walking through the 207th Street/Broadway station, according to police.

INWOOD, NY — An on-duty Metropolitan Transit Authority employee was walking down the "A" platform at the 207th Street/Broadway station on Oct. 28, when he was struck in the head from behind, according to police.
The 44-year-old MTA employee was hit in the back of the head multiple times, police said.
The unidentified attacker then fled the station on foot.

Police gave no apparent motive for the random attack.
The victim got taken to the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition with head pain and swelling, according to police.

Police released a photo Tuesday of a man wanted in connection to the attack, according to the NYPD.
The man was last seen wearing a black and gray hoodie with red pants, police said.
