Suspect Wanted In Wash Heights, Inwood Burglary Spree: Police

Police are looking for a man wanted in connection to 11 burglaries that took place in the 34th Precinct over the past two and a half months.

UPPER MANHATTAN, NY — The New York Police Department is looking for a man wanted in connection to a crime spree in Upper Manhattan over the past two and a half months.

Specifically, the man is wanted in connection to a series of burglaries all taking place in the 34th Precinct between Oct. 7 and Dec. 15.

During this period, an unidentified individual has forced his way into 11 commercial establishments and stole around $7,600 worth of property and roughly $9,000 in cash from the businesses' cash registers, according to police.

The 34th Precinct encompasses both the northern part of Washington Heights and the entirety of Inwood. It stretches from West 179th Street up through the tip of Manhattan, covering both Inwood Hill Park and Fort Tryon Park.

The NYPD released a picture Thursday afternoon of the man wanted in connection to the burglaries.
