Woman Groped Entering Washington Heights Building: Police
Police are trying to identify a suspect wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in Washington Heights.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Police are asking the public to help identify a man who allegedly groped a woman as she entered a building in Washington Heights.
On Sunday, August 28 around 7 p.m. a woman, 22, was entering a building near West 163 Street and Saint Nicholas Avenue when a man approached her from behind, police said. The man attempted to hug her and then groped her, police said. When the woman was able to push the man off of her he fled the building, police told Patch.
The man (pictured above) was wearing black sneakers, gray sweatpants, a gray T-shirt, a multi-colored button down shirt and a green baseball cap, police said.
