Woman Hit, Killed by 1 Train at Dyckman Street Station: MTA
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a 1 train Monday morning at the Dyckman Street Station.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS-INWOOD, NY — A woman was struck and killed by a southbound 1 train at the Dyckman Street station Monday morning, an MTA spokesman told Patch.
According to authorities, it’s believed she jumped in front of the train. The MTA said it was still investigating the accident Monday afternoon. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by responding firefighters, FDNY officials said.
The incident occurred around 11:47 a.m. and caused 1 train service to be suspended between 168th Street and 207th Street. Service resumed around 1:15 p.m. with delays, an MTA spokesman said.
