• The 5th annual Brewfest returns to Wellsville's Island Park on September 26, Tickets on Sale Now • The KEUKA SUN (keukasun.com) — Wellsville's Island Park will host the 5th annual Brewfest on Saturday, September 26, giving locals a chance to sample drinks from more than 20 regional breweries, cideries, distilleries, and meaderies. With live music from the Bergholz German Band, food from local favorites, and a VIP keg-tapping ceremony, organizers urge residents to buy limited tickets online before they sell out.
   

• Wellsville digital artists want Harry Styles to watch this music video ! (wellsvillesun.com) — Recent Wellsville High School graduates Maddie Muurisepp and Brooklyn Dahlgren spent their summer turning Harry Styles' song "Coming Up Roses" into a polished music video, filmed around Island Park, Giant Food Mart, the library, and downtown Wellsville. The acting and film majors treated the project like a professional shoot, battling heat waves, traffic, and tricky timing to showcase small-town life and their hometown's most recognizable spots.
   

• Patricia Hotchkiss Ledford, 70, formerly of Wellsville (wellsvillesun.com) — Family and friends in Wellsville are mourning Patricia Hotchkiss Ledford, a Wellsville Class of 1973 graduate who passed away September 4 in Lincolnton, North Carolina. Remembered for her resilience, love of the Genesee River, and pride in her children, she leaves relatives in Wellsville and beyond, with visitation planned September 12 in Lincolnton and memorial donations suggested to Allegany County SPCA or local groups.
