This Is Man Cops Say Knocked Out Woman's Teeth In West Village
Cops have released photos of the man who punched a woman's teeth out after she got off the 1 train on Houston Street on Wednesday.
WEST VILLAGE, MANHATTAN — Cops have released photos of the man who punched a woman's teeth out in an unprovoked attack near the Houston Street subway station Wednesday morning.
The man came up to the 23-year-old woman, yelling incoherently, just after 6 a.m. as she was leaving the 1 train on her way to an exercise class, according to police and the woman. The attack happened in front of 132 Houston St., police said.
The man, unprovoked, suddenly started punching the woman multiple times in the face, knocking her to the ground before he ran away, police said.

The woman was rushed to Beth Israel Hospital with injuries to her face and mouth, including two teeth that had been knocked out in the attack.
She was in stable condition Wednesday.

Police released two photos of the attacker that were taken on surveillance video nearby. He was last seen wearing all black, the photos show.
