Saturday night, the number 6 seed, Hampton Bays Baymen lost to the number 3 seed, Babylon Panthers; 29-0. The Baymen, now out of the playoffs, ended the season with a 4-4 record.
The Panthers scored two touchdowns in the first quarter, the first by running back Trevor Fudim and the second by fullback Jeann Cruz. With a 2-point conversion on the first and kick on the second, the score was 15-0.
The second quarter showed more potential for Hampton Bays. A solid 18-yard pass to wide receiver Paul Warren was complete, and running back for the Baymen, Juan Ramirez, made a 4-yard run, putting Hampton Bays on Babylon's 24-yard line. It looked promising for the Baymen, but they failed to score.

With 2 minutes to go before halftime, Babylon was on Hampton Bay's 4 yard-line, threatening to score. However, Baymen defensive back, Tracey Kennedy, intercepted the ball in the end zone, running it to the 3-yard line. The first half ended 15-0.
Now into the third quarter, Hampton Bay's defensive tackle, Sean Murphy, sacked Babylon's quarterback, Sam Zamet, on a key the third down play; forcing them to punt. Babylon got the ball back, and ran it down to the 4-yard line. Babylon then scored a touchdown on 4th and goal, fumbling the ball at first, then recovering it. At 2:29, the score was now 22-0.

In the fourth quarter, Hampton Bays advanced the ball to Babylon's 20-yard line. At 3rd and 2, they tried two running plays, but couldn't make the first down. This was their last attempt for a touch down. Babylon's running back, Grant Shannon, ran an 8-yard run for their final touchdown. With an extra point, the game ended at 29-0.
