Drug-Dealing Hamptons Taxi Driver Arrested: Police
BREAKING: The cabbie, who delivered drugs to callers, had more than 900 individual packages of cocaine and two loaded handguns, cops say.

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Hampton Bays taxi driver was busted after he was found to be delivering drugs along with a cab ride, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, Skender Selimaj, 59, aka "Kevin" Selimaj, of Hyler Drive in Hampton Bays, was arrested on Wednesday by Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota's East End Drug Task Force after a long-term investigation into drug sales in the Hampton Bays area.
Selimaj is owner and operator of Kevin's Taxi, which operates in Hampton Bays, police said.

During the course of the investigation an undercover officer would call Kevin’s Taxi, ask for “Kevin” —Selimaj — and place an order for cocaine, police said.
Selimaj would show up in his taxi and provide the cocaine in exchange for money, police said.

Selimaj was arrested and was also found to be in possession of cocaine packaged for sale, police said.
Subsequent to his arrest, the East End Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at his residence on Hyler Drive in Hampton Bays and recovered more than 900 individually packaged bags of cocaine, United States currency, computers, a large quantity of packaging material and scales, police said.
Two loaded handguns were also recovered and secured; Selimaj had a permit for those weapons and the licensing agency will be notified, police said.
Selimaj was charged with first degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, five counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, intent to sell, and fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, intent to sell, police said.
Selimaj was held overnight in Southampton Town Police lockup and is scheduled to be arraigned in Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
