Drunken Driver Had BAC More Than 2x Legal Limit: Cops

WESTHAMPTON, NY — A Riverhead man was caught driving drunk on Sunrise Highway, police said.

According to New York State Police, Conwood L. Seymore, 59, was arrested on Dec. 2 at 2:25 a.m. near Exit 63 in Westhampton after he was stopped for multiple vehicle and traffic violations and found to be intoxicated with a BAC of .18%, more than twice the legal limit.

Seymore was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and was released on an appearance ticket; he's due back in Southampton Justice Court on Dec. 10, police said.
