East End 9/11 Memorial Services
Several local communities and organizations will be hosting services on Friday in honor of the 14th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

In honor of those who passed away in the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center in 2001, communities and organizations across Long Island will be hosting memorial services this Friday.
On the East End, the following memorials will take place on the 14th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks:
EAST HAMPTON:

- The local Fire Chief’s Associations along with local fire department members will be hosting a memorial service at the Hook Mill Memorial Green located on North Main Street in East Hampton Village starting at 6 p.m.
SOUTHAMPTON:
- The North Sea Community Association will be hosting a memorial service at the schoolhouse across the street from the North Sea Fire Department on Noyack Road starting at 8:30 a.m.
WESTHAMPTON-HAMPTON BAYS:

- The Hampton Bays Elementary School will be hosting a flag ceremony at the school on Ponquogue Avenue starting at 9:30 a.m.
NORTH FORK:
- The Southold Town Fire Chiefs Council will be hosting their “Remember 9/11” ceremony at Jean Cochran Park on Peconic Lane in Peconic starting at 5 p.m.
RIVERHEAD:
- Local residents have organized a remembrance at the corner of Park Road and Thomas Kelly Memorial Drive in Riverhead starting at 6:30 p.m.
