The American Heart Association will offer a course for school children, family members of patients who are at risk for sudden cardiac death, parents and other laypersons who want to learn rescue skills. They will be taught to recognize signs and symptoms of a heart attack, cardiac arrest, choking and stroke. A certificate will be given upon completion.
