Getting Ready to Babysit

The Quogue Library will be offering a course designed to help teens develop the skills necessary for the responsibility of being a babysitter: child safety, developmental stages of children and how to plan activities that are age appropriate.  Become a more confident babysitter by participating in hands-on activities that will lead to a better understanding of the skills needed for the important job of child care.  This program will be held on Wednesday, July 11th from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. and will be facilitated by the Cornell Cooperative Extension.  The fee is $10 and course certification is included.  For more information or to register, call the library at 631-653-4224 ext. 4.
