Fun For All At Westhampton Beach's 50th St. Patrick's Day Parade Despite Frosty Temps

Even the cold couldn't keep the coneheads away as the Westhampton Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade kicked off with fun for all.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — Not even cold could keep away the crowd that turned out Saturday for the 50th Annual Westhampton Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade.

The parade brought the community out in force, with green the color of the day and Irish eyes smiling.

This year, the Westhampton Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee named Jim Hulme as the grand marshal of the event.

"Jim, a founding partner of the law firm Kelly and Hulme here in the Village, has served the greater Westhampton Beach area for many years as a dedicated community servant," the parade website states.

"From his work with the Westhampton Cultural Consortium and Immaculate Conception Parish to the Westhampton Performing Arts Center, Quogue Theater Company, Westhampton Rotary, Maureen’s Haven, Chamber of Commerce, Knights of Columbus, PTA and 23 years on the Westhampton Beach School Board, Jim has nearly done it all. There is lots more and this list doesn’t do him justice."
