What do a registered nurse, United States Marine, musician and athletic trainer have in common? They are all careers that were all represented at the Hampton Bays High School’s second annual Career Fair, held in March.
During the full-day fair, tenth and eleventh-grade students moved from classroom to classroom, exploring more than 50 different careers from regional and local professionals.
In each session, the professional volunteers explained to the high school students what it takes to get into their fields, from schooling, to related-work experience.
