Hampton Bays High School Students Selected to Perform in All-County Music Festival
Congratulations to Laura Maila and Julia Tetrault.

Two musicians from Hampton Bays High School have been selected to perform in the 2015 Suffolk County Music Educator’s Association All-County Music Festival (NYSCAME) in November.
Senior Laura Maila will perform with the All-County orchestra on violin while junior Julia Tetrault will sing with the All-County Choir.
Maila has been playing the violin since the age of 5. She is a member of the school’s orchestra and the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, with which she has played at Carnegie Hall.

In addition, she teaches violin to eight students.
Tetrault has been singing since before she started school and formally began voice lessons in high school. She is a member of her school’s chorus and has taken part in SCMEA in the past.
