Hampton Bays Middle School Hosts 'Soup and Sundae' Night Fundraiser Wednesday

The event is hosted by the Hampton Bays Middle School and Good Ground Community School Garden.

Members of the Good Ground Community School Garden and students of the Hampton Bays Middle School Builders Club invite the entire community to a ”Soup and Sundae Night” fundraiser on Wednesday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Hampton Bays Middle School cafeteria, located at 70 Ponquogue Avenue.

Guests can enjoy a variety of soups made and donated by local restaurants, music by local students, and ice cream, too.

Students and seniors pay $5 for admission; adult admission is $10.

Guests are asked to bring their own bowl, with an eye toward being environmentally aware and reducing waste. Ice cream sundaes will be available for $1, including toppings.

Raffle tickets to win a bicycle donated by The Local Bike Shop will be available for $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. Winners can keep the bike or exchange it for the perfect size, of equal or lesser value.

“This is a fun, family-friendly, and delicious night out to benefit the Good Ground Community School Garden and the Hampton Bays Middle School Builders Club. Many thanks to local businesses who have made donations to support the event, including: Carvel, Fellingham’s, Gators, RUMBA & CowFish, Sunday’s On The Bay, Scotto’s, Uncle Joe’s, and Villa Paul. A full listing of donors will be publicized following the event,” organizers said.
