Hampton Bays Students Learn About Holidays Around the World

After learning about how various holidays are celebrated in countries around the world from Mexico to Costa Rica to Germany, Australia, Italy and Israel, Hampton Bays Elementary School first graders put on a performance.

Before and audience of family and friends, each first grade class stood on stage to recite facts and poems about the holidays they studied.

Students, who were dressed in festive holiday costumes, also sang holiday songs.
