HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A head-on crash on Dune Road in Hampton Bays Friday night reportedly caused a car to burst into flames and left five injured, officials at the scene said.

The crash took place at 7:36 p.m. on Dune Road near Road L, officials said.

Two Suffolk County Police Department medevac helicopters landed at the Ponquogue Beach parking lot, officials said.
