Help Needed For Family Of Father Gone Too Soon

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A broken-hearted family needs help from a caring community after the loss of a beloved father.

A GoFundMe page, "Father Gone Too Soon," was created by Salvatore Carozzi Clark, who said his father Ian James Clark collapsed from heart related issues on Aug. 16 at just 40.

"Not only is the emotional toll great, the economic disparities to come are even greater," he said. "Ian was an amazing man who loved and provided for his family in every way imaginable."

Without him, his wife and children are left grieving and in need of financial assistance to help with car payments, a mortgage, funeral expenses, and "many, many more expenses to come. Ian left abruptly and very unexpectedly, leaving our family financially crippled and emotionally distressed for years to come," he wrote. "Your help will allow Ian’s family to grieve in peace instead of worrying about finances and how long we can afford to live in our home before we can no longer afford to — and will have to leave."

He added, "R.I.P. Ian James Clark you will be missed."
