Lung Cancer Research Foundation to Host Tenth Annual Strides For Life Race This Sunday
The foundation expects over 1,000 participants in the race.

The New York City based Lung Cancer Research Foundation will be hosting their tenth annual three-mile run/walk Strides for Life this Sunday.
Registration for the event will take place starting at 7:30 a.m. at the Southampton Cultural Center on 2 Pond Lane.
The three-mile race/walk will start at 8:45 a.m. and will go around Lake Agawam.

Presentations and awards at the finish line will start at 10:15 a.m. and the children’s 50-yard dash will begin at 10:30 a.m. for kids ages 2 through 10.
Southampton Mayor Mark Epley will be the honorary chairman for the event.

The Lung Cancer Research Foundation expects over 1,000 runners and walkers to participate in this tenth annual family event.
Entry fee for ages 13 and over is $45 per participant, plus a $3 registration fee and for ages 12 and under the fee is $25 per participant, plus a $3 registration fee.
There is no fee for participants ages two and under.
The children’s 50-yard dash will not have a participation fee. Team registration is also available. Registration is available online at www.lungfund.org/events.
