Photos: ARF Designer Showcase and Sale Event
The event took place at the ARF Thrift and Treasure Shop in Sagaponack this past Saturday.

The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons recently hosted a cocktail party and sale at the ARF Thrift and Treasure Shop in Sagaponack this past Saturday.
The Thrift Shop was transformed into an incredible designer showhouse featuring six rooms styled by some of New York’s most illustrious interior decorators.

The event is Chaired by Gordon Hoppe, Gigi Mahon, Sandra McConnell and Jeff Pfeifle along with Vice Chairs Peter Hallock, Lisa McCarthy and Marshall Watson.
All proceeds from the event went to ARF.

“Now in its fifth year, the ARF Designer Showhouse is a great kick-off to the summer season!” McCarthy said. “We salute the designers who have brought such creativity to their assignment.”
The lineup of top designers, who created rooms for the fourth annual showhouse, included: Brian P. Brady, Jamie Drake, Kevin Hart, Tamara Magel, Mark Schryver and Peri Wolfman.
The evening also included a selection of ARF dogs and cats that were available for adoption and looking to find a loving new home.
The event also included, for the first time ever, a “Meet the Author” with Jorge Bendersky, who signed his book DIY Dog Grooming, From Puppy to Best in Show: Everything You Need to Know, Step by Step.
Among the attendees from the event included: designers Tamara Magel, Brian Brady and Franco Biscardi of Brady Design; Dr. Emmanuel Faccio and Kevin Hart with “Lakshmi”; Edward Alava and Tommy Frangakis with “Woody” of Wainscott’s “the DOG store”; ARF Director of Marketing and Communications Jamie Berger; ARF Board President Lisa McCarthy; Shih-Tzu mix “Rudy”; Monica Asche and Dianne Charkow; Designer Jamie Drake with Roy Ostrom; Designer Marshall Watson; Author Jorge Bendersky; Greg D’Elia with Melanie Wambold; and Gordon Hoppe (Corcoran Sunshine Marketing), all pictured below.
