
A Hampton Bays man was arrested on a DWI charge on Monday night, according to Southampton Town Police.
Southampton Town Police received phone calls about a car failing to stay in its travel lane at about 8:45 p.m.
Police responded and stopped a 2002 Honda.

The driver, Ruben Arellanos- Cruz, 35 was found to be drunk and he was arrested for driving while intoxicated and first degree aggravated unlicensed operation, police said.
He was brought to Southampton Town Police headquarters for processing and held overnight for arraignment in the morning.

The car he was driving was also impounded to police headquarters.
