Race For Trustee Seats in Westhampton Beach Begins

The nominating petitions are in, and there are three candidates vying for two open seats on the board of trustees in Westhampton Beach.

Two-term Trustee Hank Tucker, who is seeking re-election, is running on a ticket with Patricia DiBenedetto, who sits on the village planning board.

Also running for village trustee is local blogger Dean Speir, who is a former village zoning board of appeals member.

Trustee Joan Levan has decided not to seek re-election.

There is no contest, however, for village justice. Gus Kelly is seeking re-election, running unopposed.
