Sag Harbor Native Appointed Vice President/General Manager at Local Radio Stations

Congratulations to Stephanie McNamara-Bitisthe!

Long Island Radio Broadcasting recently announced that local Stephanie McNamara-Bitisthe was recently appointed Vice President/General Manager to the Long Island stations in The Hamptons.

She will be working at: 102.5 WBAZ, 101.7 WBEA, and 92.9/96.9 WEHM.

McNamara-Bitis is a proven radio veteran with an extensive background from some of the largest and most recognizable names in the communications industry.

For 30 years, she has led several radio stations in New York City including WABC 770AM, Q104 New York’s Classic Rock Station and Univision Communications Flagship NY Spanish Language station WADO.

Most recently, she led WFAN Sports Radio 660 AM and 101.9 FM.

She has lived in Sag Harbor along with her husband, Bill, and her two children for nearly 20 years and is very active in the community.

McNamara-Bitis currently serves as a Trustee on The Board of Education in Sag Harbor, and is an active member and Vice President on the Parish Council of the Greek Orthodox Church in Southampton.
