Suffolk County Police To Host Property Auction

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — If you're looking for a new ride, here's the chance to find one.

The Suffolk County Police Department's impound section will hold a vehicle auction on Oct. 20 at the department’s impound yard in Westhampton.

A total of 120 vehicles will be auctioned off, including cars, motorcycles, SUVs, pickup trucks and vans, police said.

The auction will begin at 9 a.m. and will be held rain or shine. There will be a preview of vehicles on Oct. 18 and 19 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the impound yard, located at 100 Old Country Road.

All potential bidders must register for the auction. Registration is at the impound section during preview hours and on the day of the auction. Proper ID is required to register. To register to bid as a business, a state certificate is required.
