Suffolk County Police To Host Vehicle Auction
The auction takes place Saturday with preview days on Thursday and Friday, police say.
WESTHAMPTON, NY — If you're in need of a new set of wheels, here's the chance to find a holiday bargain.
The Suffolk County Police Department's impound section will auction 130 vehicles, approximately half of which are SUVs and trucks, as well as 9 trailers and 1 snowmobile, police said.
The auction is slated to take place on Saturday, Dec. 9, at 9 a.m. A preview of the vehicles will take place Thursday, Dec. 7 and Friday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Suffolk County impound section facility, located at 100 Old Country Road, Westhampton, NY 11977.

In addition, individuals must register to bid in the auction. Registration will be held at the impound section during preview hours and on the day of the auction. Proper identification is required to register. To register to bid as a business, you must produce a state tax certificate. All vehicles are sold as is and all sales are final.
