Westhampton Beach High School Chamber Singers Selected to Perform at Conference

The conference took place on Saturday.

The Westhampton Beach High School chamber singers are one of only two high school groups selected to perform at the American Choral Directors’ Association (ACDA) Conference on Oct. 24 the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.

The invitation to perform comes after the choral group submitted an audition tape last spring.

Joining the two high school musical groups are three collegiate groups and one community choir.

The ACDA, which provides professional development for vocal educators, frequently highlights noteworthy ensembles from across New York State at their conferences.

“Our students are thrilled with this opportunity to perform,” Westhampton Beach High School Director of Choirs Eric Rubinstein said.
