Westhampton Beach Hurricanes Wins Homecoming Game 32-31

The Hurricanes varsity football team rounded out Westhampton Beach’s homecoming activities on Friday, Oct. 10 by winning their game against Eastport-South Manor, 32-31.

The Homecoming game was preceded by an Thursday, Oct. 9 bonfire on the Westhampton Beach High School football field and a parade through the village before kickoff.

This year’s parade included book-themed floats, including a Harry Potter float, designed by seniors; a Dr. Seuss float, put together by juniors; a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory float, made by sophomores; and a Lord of the Rings float, created by freshman. Also marching were members of the high school’s band.
