The Hampton Bays Fire Department once again came to the rescue when an oil burner puffback led to high levels of carbon monoxide in a building on Ponquogue Avenue. Also in the news today, suspensions after Klu Klux Klan-related material was featured on the websites of local museums during Black History Month. And, a backyard flock of birds have tested positive for avian flu in Suffolk County, official tell us.
