Woman Charged With DWI After Crash: Police
The vehicle crashed into a tree, police say.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after a Hampton Bays crash Saturday, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, the crash took place at 11:46 p.m. when a vehicle with two people crashed into a tree on Red Creek Road and Bergen Avenue.
Marie G. Blanchard, 36 of New York was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.

The man in the vehicle sustained serious injuries due to the crash and was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center, police said.
Blanchard was processed at Southampton Town Police headquarters; Southampton Town Police detectives responded to continue the investigation, police said.
