Woman Nabbed For Driving Drunk: Police
She was pulled over for failing to maintain her lane, police say.
RIVERSIDE, NY — A Queens woman was nabbed for driving drunk in Riverside, police said.
According to New York State Police, Irena Tsapelas, 38, was arrested on Oct. 21 at 2:09 a.m. on Riverleigh Ave. after she was stopped for moving from her lane unsafely.
Upon further investigation, Tsapelas was found to be intoxicated, arrested, and charged with driving while intoxicated; she was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in Southampton Justice Court on Nov. 12, police said.
