Baseball Game In Honor Of Slain NYPD Sgt. Tuozzolo To Be Held Next Week

The game will raise money to benefit the Sgt. Tuozzolo Scholarship Fund.

A special baseball game to raise money to benefit the Sgt. Tuozzolo Scholarship Fund will be held in Central Islip next week.

Long Island resident Paul Tuozzolo, an NYPD officer for 19 years, was shot and killed in the Bronx last November.

His wife, Lisa Martinolich, works as assistant principal at the West Islip school.

The baseball game which will be held in his honor will take place on Monday, April 24 at the Ducks Stadium on 3 Courthouse Drive in Central Islip starting at 4:30 p.m.

The West Islip baseball team will be competing against the North Babylon team.

Tickets cost $15 each and all proceeds will go towards the scholarship fund.
