Fundraiser Created To Help Family Of Local Man Who Died Of Brain Hemorrhage
The man is survived by his wife and 3-year-old son.

A West Islip resident recently started an online fundraising campaign to help the family of a man who passed away suddenly last month.
A GoFundMe page was created by Murphy Velez on behalf of Brandi Pearson after her husband and father of their 3-year-old son, Jason Pearson, died of a brain hemorrhage on April 30. He was 43.
Unfortunately at the time of Jason's death, he was in between jobs and left with no life insurance.

Velez created the page to help raise money for Brandi and her son, Noah, pay for Jason's final expenses.
The goal of the page is to raise $10,000 for the family. As of Tuesday, the page raised a total of $3,685.
