ICYMI: Tractor-Trailer Bursts Into Flames On LIE

In case you missed it, here's a story that appeared last week in West Islip Patch:

BRENTWOOD, NY - A tractor-trailer burst into flames on the Long Island Expressway in Brentwood on Monday afternoon.

Suffolk Police responded to a call for a tractor-trailer fire on Express Drive South near exit 53 at 2:05 p.m.

First arriving units from the Brentwood Fire Department discovered the cab of a tractor-trailer burning. The fire was then quickly extinguished.

No injuries were reported.

The south service road was closed throughout the investigation.
