Local police officers have partnered with the members of the department’s FAST (FireArms Suppression Team) to create a measured plan to target individuals for RICO prosecutions.
Their strategy includes creating lists of suspects and known gang members, make arrests and debrief the suspects to gain more intel.
“We’re not going to stop until we’ve eradicated this gang, and I’m confident the strategy will result in more state and federal arrests,” Suffolk Police Commissioner Timothy Sini said.
