Plane Makes Emergency Landing, Flips Over On Long Island Beach

BABYLON, NY - A plane made an emergency landing at Robert Moses State Park on Monday morning, a spokesman for the New York State Parks Department confirmed.
At 9:30 a.m. the small plane, with three people on board, landed on the beach at Field 2. No injuries were reported.
A teen student pilot was at the controls when the plane had a mechanical issue, NBC 4 reported. An instructor was able to land the plane on the beach.
