
Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who stole a computer in Islandia last month.
Police say the man entered Walmart, located at 1800 Veterans Memorial Highway, and stole a desktop computer from the store on Feb. 6 at about 6:50 p.m. He fled in a green Ford Explorer, possibly with a license plate containing the letters FZL, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
