Snowfall Totals Across Long Island
Friday morning brought a bit more snow than expected to the island.

An intense band of wind-blown snow smacked the region Friday morning, dropping up to 2 inches in some areas in just a couple of hours.
The heavier than expected snow, which created messy driving conditions during rush hour, has now moved on, with a dry and cold weekend on tap in West Islip, but here’s a look at the unofficial National Weather Service snowfall totals reported across the island Friday:
