Vote for West Islip's Jim DeCastro to Sing The National Anthem at NY State Fair

Jim DeCastro, a longtime West Islip resident and the president of The Babylon Chorale, has auditioned to sing the National Anthem at The Great New York State Fair held in Syracuse this summer.

Jim is one of only two Long Islanders who submitted an entry. Voting is done on Facebook until Aug. 7 and users can vote once an hour. The top-12 vote getters will perform at the fair that runs from Aug. 27 to Sept. 7.
