West Islip Announces Upcoming Kindergarten Registration Dates
The established policy of the district is that children must be 5 years of age on or before Dec. 1 in order to be eligible for enrollment.
From West Islip School District: The West Islip School District has announced kindergarten registration dates for the 2018-2019 school year. Registration will take place at Oquenock and Paul J. Bellew elementary schools on Nov. 6 and 7; and at Bayview and Manetuck elementary schools on Nov. 7 and 8. Registrations on all three dates will take place from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and from 1-2:30 p.m.

Timely kindergarten registration is critical for accurate budget development and transportation planning. For parents who are uncertain about which school their child will attend, contact West Islip’s transportation office at 631-893- 3300.
