Key to Awesomeness: Dayna, a congenital amputee and senior at West Islip High School, has raised more than $12,000 for amputee children in Haiti and has collected a vast amount of orthopedic equipment for multiple charities in need.

"Dayna is as intelligent as she is passionate," says Donna Troisi, Dayna's mother.  "She recently interviewed for Harvard and Georgetown and anxiously awaits the news.  She is also involved in many other activities including teaching Spanish to elementary school children in West Islip and teaching  'Acceptance of People that Look Different' in West Babylon."

As part of another charity initiative, Dayna will begin selling bracelets in March to raise money for A Leg To Stand On and the Paddy Rossbach Amputee Camp (Amputee Coalition of America).
