The White Plains Hospital Board of Directors approved the position change at its December board meeting. “Our Hospital is at a critical point in its 120-year history. We are building for the future and bringing exceptional doctors onboard to offer our patients the most advanced techniques and technologies available,” said J. Michael Divney, Chairman of the Board of Directors. Divney continued, “Susan’s innovation coupled with Jon Schandler’s three decades of experience as a healthcare leader in this market, is the best of both worlds, and will ensure White Plains Hospital will continue to be a healthcare leader now and into the future.”
Fox came to White Plains Hospital in 2010 as Senior Vice President of Administration, spearheading a strategic plan to solidify the Hospital’s position as the premier community hospital in the market. Among the initiatives she has led is the creation of White Plains Hospital Physician Associates, which now includes nearly three dozen physicians covering many specialties including: thoracic, orthopedics, oncology, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology and internal medicine.
