As the Middle East continues to be in the headlines and as Israel's welfare remains a daily concern, this event, will provide participants with the knowledge and tools to effectively advocate for Israel in their day-to-day interactions.
Keynote speaker Yossi Klein Halevi of the Shalom Hartman Institute in Israel will address "The Middle East at a Crossroads: Forecast for the Jewish State."
Workshops will be presented on topics from religious equality in Israel to what's happening on college campuses to the media's portrayal of the Middle East. The event is hosted by Schechter Westchester, in partnership with UJA-Federation of New York and the Westchester Jewish Council.
