The September Monthly Meeting of the White Plains Council of Neighborhood Associations (WPCNA) will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 6:30 pm at Education House, 5 Homeside Lane, White Plains, NY. Please note the early start time.
The Guest Speaker will be White Plains Superintendent of Schools Christopher Clouet. Dr. Clouet, together with Assistant Superintendent for Business Fred Seiler, will talk about the October 23rd Referendum on $48 million in School District Bonding for upgrade and maintenance projects and wi-fi installation.
Afterwards, the meeting will be given over to an educational ShopRite marketing and tasting event. There will be lots of food, so bring a hearty appetite! ShopRite will introduce its new Mamaroneck Avenue Manager and staff, including the Produce and Meat Managers, who will discuss consumer guidelines, and the Dietician, who will talk about planning healthy meals. A Q&A period will follow.
The meeting is open to the public and will start promptly at 6:30 pm. Please come early to get a good seat and allow time for audience participation and networking.
