The obesity epidemic: what can be done?

The growing obesity epidemic and the government’s role in preventing and combating it will be the subject of a talk by Susan Kessler, a nutrition educator and senior adjunct professor at Adelphi University, on Sunday, September 23, at the Ethical Culture Society of Westchester, 7 Saxon Wood Road (off Mamaroneck Avenue) in White Plains.  The program, which begins at 10:30 a.m., is free, and childcare is available.
